A little bit about us

Hi! I have a 3mo. newborn baby boy that I’m looking to have someone that is kind, patient, attentive, and caring to look after him. I only need someone to watch him 2 days a week from early morning to afternoon. I have to be to work at 6:30am and get home by before 5:30pm, but my fiancé doesn’t leave for work until 7:30 am. I just need someone to do the normal duties of caring for a baby like feeding, changing diapers, rock to sleep, and clean up after him. Light housekeeping is needed (washing bottles, wiping counters that have been use to prep bottles). No travel required, we will only be at our home in Macon. We do have a small dog that is beyond friendly. Lastly, I would like for you to be CPR certified, first aid training, have reliable transportation, and non-smoker.

A little bit about us

We have a 3 month old baby girl named Adriel (Aye-dree-elle). My partner & I are traveling musicians who typically work late on weekends. (Dates & times may vary but we will ensure you have a schedule) We’re looking for someone to look after Adriel while we’re performing. She’s typically asleep so as long as she’s changed & fed you should be fine. You will mostly be at one of our houses and on occasions you’re welcomed to travel with us. Food will be provided and of course you will be compensated for your time.

What is an Infant Nanny in Macon, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Macon, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
