A little bit about us

Looking for someone to watch our 4 month old twice a week. Would be Tuesdays and Wednesdays, roughly 14 hours a week. Possible option for extra hours on Saturday mornings. Hours would be 11am-5:30/6pm. I’m a hairstylist in downtown savannah and my husband is in the military, commuting to and from Ft. Stewart.
Our daughter Juno, has been such a happy go lucky baby so far. She naps relatively easily and loves to plays on the floor or in her bouncer during her wake windows.
We do have 2 dogs and 1 cat. You would not be responsible for them in any way but we do need someone comfortable being around animals! They are very sweet and very lazy!!

We look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

Hello, my husband and I are looking for someone to fill in the gaps between our work schedules during the weekdays. Specifically, we're looking for someone to watch our daughter who will be 3 months old at our house with our two pups! We have a medium size dog of unknown origin and a wiener dog! I work at a hospital and he is a restaurant manager so a lot of days we may just need someone for a couple of hours between when he goes in and when I get off. There will be somedays where we will need someone for 4-6 hours when we're both working the day shift. Our schedules are relatively flexible for anyone who is still in school or has other commitments. We don't expect you to do anything for the dogs besides love on them and have no additional expectations in regards to laundry/cleaning/etc.
This would be the ideal fit for someone who just needs a low maintenance gig part time.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny/ household manager during the week. We are looking for someone to fill a long-term position with our family.

We have an 11 month old little boy and are looking for someone that can take care of him while we work and assist with household chores/ duties such as cleaning up, laundry, and meal preparation.

We have extremely busy work schedules and candidates MUST be reliable and flexible with differing work schedules from day to day/ week to week, etc. and also comfortable with occasional overnight services (a private bedroom would be provided for these occasions). We often do not know what time we will be getting “off work” until we are actually finishing up work for the day— which is often not until 7pm or later.

A little bit about us

My wife and I are looking for a kind, reliable, and caring person to help us fill in some gaps in our schedule and spend some time with our two kids - our son, who is 18 months old, and our daughter, who is almost four.

My wife will be starting a new job toward the end of September, which is when we anticipate needing some additional help. She works as a nurse, so her schedule changes from week to week, although she does know her schedule about a month in advance. I manage a restaurant, so my schedule can shift around as well. Between the two of us, we have a somewhat unconventional schedule, but we're hoping to find someone who can become a dependable part of our family's routine.

We anticipate needing approximately 15-20 hours of help per week, most often spread across three days, although there may be some weeks when we only need two days. The specific days and hours will vary from week to week depending on our work schedules. We'll always do our best to provide as much notice as possible and communicate the schedule well in advance.

Our kids are sweet, energetic, curious, and (usually!) a lot of fun. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children and would be comfortable caring for both of them together. We'd love to find someone who is playful and engaged with them, but who is also comfortable with the everyday rhythm of life with little kids - meals, naps, getting outside, playing, reading books, and keeping things generally happy and organized.

We're a pretty easygoing family and are hoping to find someone who feels like a good fit for us and, most importantly, for our kids. We value kindness, reliability, communication, and someone who will treat our children with the same care and attention we would.

A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a nanny ASAP to care for our one-year-old from 9:00am to 5:00pm. She naps from 2pm-4:30pm and her brother gets home from Prek at 3:30pm so you'd be with him for the end of the day. We live in the midtown area (Forest hills) right on a neighborhood park with a playground and splash pad, so it's easy to get out and get some sunshine if you wish. I work from home, so I'm typically around, but I do travel for work sometimes. We have a dog and two cats in the house. The cats mind their own business, and the dog is very affectionate. Comfort with the occasional school dropoff and/or pickup is a bonus. Light housekeeping is also a bonus.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Savannah, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Savannah, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Savannah, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
