A little bit about us
I am expecting in September. The father and I will be co-parenting. I am trying to go ahead and get things in order before the due date so there won’t be very much to do once the baby is here. This will be my first child.
Also my expectations would be bathing, feeding, creating a routine for my child. As well as meal prepping and basic child laundry. I am willing to offer 1 week off paid at the end of your 1st year and 2 weeks paid on the 2nd year for the right candidate as well as holiday pay.

A little bit about us
More than anything, we hope to find someone who is genuinely affectionate, attentive, experienced with infants, and fully present throughout the day.
What matters most to us
* Loving, gentle, affectionate, and nurturing
* Experienced and confident with infants
* Fully attentive and engaged while caring for her
* Reliable, punctual, organized, and responsible
* A strong communicator who is comfortable following our routines and instructions
* Interested in supporting her development and milestones
* No screens around the baby — we want her environment to remain screen-free
Our baby currently takes contact naps exclusively. She needs to be held or closely supported while sleeping, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable staying with her throughout naps and understands that this is part of her current routine. Her comfort, safety, and emotional needs should always come first.
Responsibilities
* Feeding and following her established routine
* Washing, sterilizing, and organizing bottles and feeding supplies
* Baby laundry and organizing her clothing and essentials
* Keeping baby and nursery areas clean and tidy
* Preparing for naps, walks, outings, and appointments
* Following our preferences for sleep, feeding, hygiene, and care.
We want someone who will actively engage with her through:
* Talking, reading, and singing
* Tummy time and sensory activities
* Age-appropriate developmental play
* Walks and outdoor time
* Encouraging curiosity, movement, communication, and emotional development
* Comfortable with cameras in common areas
* Open to feedback and respectful of our parenting preferences
* Proactive, communicative, and dependable
* Infant CPR/First Aid certification preferred
* Strong childcare references preferred

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dallas, TX
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Dallas, TX
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dallas, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
