A little bit about us
We are very organized and particular (or OCI—Obsessive Compulsive Improvements, as we like to call it), and are looking to work with a nanny who is reliable, proactive, and excited to be part of our family’s rhythm. We are also looking for someone with a willingness to learn–NOT just do what they are familiar with. Kaliaan is our first son, and so we are learning along the way and like to try different methods–IDEALLY you are someone that will engage to support those choices.
The role will start as part time, but if you have the patience and schedule your hours could increase as we ease back into working full-time. Ideally, the nanny will also be open to work the occasional date night and pet/house sitting when we take family trips. We are open to discussing a live-in arrangement with the right person.
Requirements:
- Recent CPR training
- Reliable Transportation
- Willing to take care of Kaliaan and our home
- Non-smoker
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current vaccinations
- Car
- CPR certification

We also have a puppy (3month old Labrador) who would need to be walked and fed.
My husband has a home remodeling business and he sometimes needs my help. Or we’d love to go on date nights from time to time.
We need someone who is upbeat and gentle for our boys.
Preferably someone who is bilingual (Spanish/English speaking)
My son goes to pre-k and might need to be picked up so transportation is a must.
We don’t have a set schedule but out of the week maybe 3-4 days we would need you. And maybe some Saturdays.
Some cleaning around the house as well and able to cook/prepare snacks for the boys.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dallas, TX
If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.
What is an Infant Nanny in Dallas, TX
An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.
Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:
- What is your specific experience with this age group?
- Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dallas, TX? Are you willing to be trained?
- How do you handle a crying baby?
- How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
- What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
- How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
- What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?
You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
