A little bit about us

We are looking for an at home nanny that can help us with our 6 month old son, Bennett starting in July.
He is a very sweet and happy boy!

My husband and I work from home but have meetings/work that will take us away from him for a good portion of the day.

Ideally we would like someone that can work 6 hours/4 days a week totaling roughly 96 hours per month. We would love someone that is passionate about kids and can help teach and play with Bennett to promote meeting milestones.

We have 2 dogs, Max (8 year old Pug) and Gunner (4 year old Golden Retriever). No care is needed for the dogs but they are big snugglers and will likely be near you all day.

We will offer lots of breaks throughout the day so you do not get worn out and have a gym in the garage that you are more than welcome to use. You will also have full access to any food or drinks in the house. Our home is your home! :)

A little bit about us

We have a wonderful newborn, and we are looking for someone to help care for her during the day while we work from home. We are flexible with hours, but something that overlaps 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. probably. We have two dogs that are friendly once they have met someone. Dogs would not need to be watched, but may occasionally need to be let out into the fenced back yard. Both parents work from a home office, so the main floor with living room and kitchen is open space to spend with baby, as well as baby's nursery.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lake Stevens, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lake Stevens, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lake Stevens, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
