A little bit about us
We are seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging nanny/babysitter to care for our 6-year-old son, who has autism. This is a part-time position for afterschool hours during the week, with occasional weekend hours.
Responsibilities include providing attentive one-on-one care, engaging in age-appropriate activities (play, crafts, learning activities), and taking him to the park and outdoor activities when weather permits. Creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment is essential.
The ideal candidate is dependable, calm, and enjoys working with children. Experience with children is required; experience with autism or special needs is strongly preferred but not required for the right person. Must be punctual, responsible, and comfortable being active and hands-on.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Reliable transportation preferred.
