A little bit about me
I completed 2.5 years at UW-Stout in Early Childhood Education, including 3 semesters in a classroom with infants (including twins), 2-year-olds, and 5-year-olds — building skills in calming strategies, weaving learning into daily routines, and child development.
I'm certified in Bloodborne Pathogens and Infant/Pediatric CPR & First Aid, with Advanced Child Care Training completing in October and Newborn Care Specialist in November — ahead of a full-time placement starting end of December or early January.
I handle light housework (children's dishes, tidying up) and prepare meals and snacks. I'm a caring, fun, reliable caregiver who'd love to be part of your family's daily life!

A little bit about me
My name is Josephine and I recently moved down from Minnesota to Atlanta with my fiance, Samuel and our amazing pup, Nala. I am currently looking to make a career shift & while I have never formally worked with children, giving my time to kids has always been a love of mine. I come from a large family that includes 15 nieces and nephews! I have played varying roles in guiding and babysitting my young family members over the years, and am extremely comfortable engaging with children of all ages. I may be known as the "fun" auntie but I always support the rules and boundaries of the parents! I find that kids around me enjoy the structure I provide (quiet time, activity time, naps, etc). I strive to learn the individualized personalities of each child, & help them grow into their most confident and joyful selves.
I would love the opportunity to share my unconventional experiences with you and see if we might be a great fit together!
I prefer day hours but am open to evening too!

School settings. I love all things in the arts and creative activities are my jam! I am looking for a part time gig that will allow me to shift my time to focus on creating my art and teaching part time. I live in St Paul and am very much a Minnesota girl—taking advantage of the outdoors in all seasons is what I do best. I like to cook, thrift, listen to and write music.
