A little bit about me
Hello! My name is Norah Litvack and I am a senior at Edina High School. In the fall I will attend the University of lowa, majoring in health sciences.
I am looking for a part time nannying job this summer! I have been babysitting for more than four years and enjoy kids of all ages! I have experience working with children with special needs through Edina's Unified Soccer program. I also volunteer weekly at Fairview Hospital. These experiences have helped me build responsibility and strong communication skills.
I live in Edina and have a flexible schedule this summer. I would love to spend the summer with your kids!
I enjoy planning fun, active days like going to parks, doing crafts, being outside, or just hanging out and keeping kids engaged. I am reliable, patient, and have my own car, so transportation isn't an issue.
Feel free to message me if you are interested!

A little bit about me
I am a senior Nursing student at Gustavus Adolphus College. I am looking for some part time summer work while I am at home. I currently work on-call as a CNA in Woodbury and am flexible with schedule changes and working with your family to create the best schedule! I have been working with kids since I was 13, including babysitting, nannying, and working at my church as a youth ministry assistant and running church camps. I aspire to create a fun and encouraging atmosphere for your littles, and allow them the space to find themselves, as that is a very important part to growing up.

How to Hire a Summer Nanny in Minneapolis, MN
Nanny Lane helps you find a summer nanny in Minneapolis, MN to take care of your children while school is out.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Summer Nanny?
A summer nanny is a nanny who works during the school break, for the full summer or for part of it. Summer nannies are often teachers, college students, or experienced nannies who prefer seasonal work, so families can find help when school-age children are home during the day.
Common Responsibilities of Summer Nannies in Minneapolis, MN
Summer days are less structured than the school year. A summer nanny plans activities such as park visits, swimming, crafts, and day trips, prepares meals and snacks, and may take children to camps or classes. For younger children, they keep up the usual nap and mealtime routines.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Start your search early, since good summer nannies are booked quickly. Decide your start and end dates, your weekly hours, and whether you need flexibility around camps, vacations, or travel. Be clear about transportation, and about whether you need the nanny to drive. If your dates might change, say so up front.
Summer Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which dates are you available this summer?
- Are you able to adjust if our dates or hours change?
- What activities would you plan for the children during the day?
- Are you comfortable driving, including to camps and activities?
- Do you have experience with children of our children's ages?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
