A little bit about me
Dear families, My name is Adriana, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Italy. I’m looking for a full time job starting end of June.
I’m currently with a wonderful family in Tribeca, but they’ll be away for the summer and the youngest will be starting school in September, so their childcare needs will be changing.
Because of that, I’m looking for my next family!
I’ve been a nanny for about 8 years and I am CPR, First Aid, and Baby Nurse certified. I have experience with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, and have worked with both single children and multiple children at the same time.
I strive to be a positive role model while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
I believe the best childcare comes from a strong partnership between nanny and parents.
I'm happy to provide excellent references from current and past employers upon request.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!🥰

A little bit about me
Hello! My name is Ali and I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. As a younger self I was always known as the "neighborhood babysitter on call" and would spend most of my summers with the kiddos in my hometown. More recently I have had a consistent schedule with one family (1 yr old and 4 yr old). This Vermont family has utilized my care while traveling to Maine, Brooklyn, and South Carolina. As a recent graduate, I have moved to Jersey City and am looking to find a fun and creative family nearby during the summer and potentially into the fall.
I love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage in their lives. As I have had many years of experience, I hold strength within my responsibility, reliability, and my creative abilities. I'm looking forward to finding an opportunity!

How to Hire a Summer Nanny in Jersey City, NJ
Nanny Lane helps you find a summer nanny in Jersey City, NJ to take care of your children while school is out.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Summer Nanny?
A summer nanny is a nanny who works during the school break, for the full summer or for part of it. Summer nannies are often teachers, college students, or experienced nannies who prefer seasonal work, so families can find help when school-age children are home during the day.
Common Responsibilities of Summer Nannies in Jersey City, NJ
Summer days are less structured than the school year. A summer nanny plans activities such as park visits, swimming, crafts, and day trips, prepares meals and snacks, and may take children to camps or classes. For younger children, they keep up the usual nap and mealtime routines.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Start your search early, since good summer nannies are booked quickly. Decide your start and end dates, your weekly hours, and whether you need flexibility around camps, vacations, or travel. Be clear about transportation, and about whether you need the nanny to drive. If your dates might change, say so up front.
Summer Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which dates are you available this summer?
- Are you able to adjust if our dates or hours change?
- What activities would you plan for the children during the day?
- Are you comfortable driving, including to camps and activities?
- Do you have experience with children of our children's ages?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
