I recently moved to Crescent City from San Diego. I am a mother of 3 amazing adult sons ,a wife of a correctional officer & a Pug mom. I have worked as a bookkeeper for over 20 years, I did my job very well & my employers loved me, yet being a mother & raising my sons is what I loved the most. My sons are very respectful, kind & loving, I keep them busy with sports & other activities that they never got into trouble. My son is a police officer, the other is in college for criminal justice and the youngest is going to the military. I do not spank, I use positive reinforcement, If my sons did something wrong, I would ask them why they do what the did & then I ask them to what they could have done instead. My middle son had add & adhd, I did not give him medication, I educated myself & “ re-trained his brain”. All children are different, it’s just a matter of finding what works for yours.
