A little bit about me
I'm 33 years old and I've recently relocated back to Orange County where I am currently employed at an elementary school in Irvine (but it's summer break now, yayyy!).
I've worked in special education, ran an after-school bike program through the YMCA, taught health classes for high schoolers, and hosted cooking classes at the Boys and Girls Club. While finishing my undergrad I nannied part-time & coached girls soccer at the Boys and Girls Club in San Francisco. When I can, I spend most of my time outside—
riding my bike, surfing, playing soccer and tennis, running (with my dog), or backpacking.
I am available until Aug. 10th for work during the week, I am open to being available some evenings/ weekends after that.
References upon request.

A little bit about me
I’m 55 yrs old and I’ve been married for 28 years to an aerospace engineer.
My career before I became a stay home Mom was a pastry chef working for Richs foods corp and now I’m a mother of two teenager daughters. My oldest is in college, majoring in computer science, and my youngest is ready to graduate high school and take the law path.
I decided to stay home and raise them but now that they’re all off to college. Im really to go back into the Work field..
I am very good with children and I have a lot of personal experience. My 1st daughter was born with autoimmune disease with severe food allergies, along with mild autism, but with patience and nurturing, I helped her overcome some of her challenges. I have lots of patience and I love children.

A little bit about me
I've been an Aupair for the past two years, and I love with kids. In my first year, I cared for four children - ages 1, 3, 6, and 8 - so I got really good at managing different routines, energy levels, and interests all at once!
In my second year, I took care of 11-year-old twins with ADHD and Autism. I stayed an extra 6 months with the family because we developed such a strong bond, and I really enjoyed helping create a calm, structured environment that worked for them.
One of the things I'm most proud of is my ability to adapt to each child's unique personality and needs - whether that means being playful and energetic or patient and calming. I'm responsible, caring, organized and always ready to support your family in whatever way is most helpful.
I speak advanced English and am fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. I'm also a confident and experienced driver, comfortable behind the wheel in all kinds of weather including snow.

How to Hire a Weekend Nanny in Irvine, CA
Nanny Lane helps you find a weekend nanny in Irvine, CA who fits your family's schedule. Browse profiles of nannies who are available on Saturdays or Sundays, then message the ones you like.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Weekend Nanny?
A weekend nanny cares for your children on Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Some weekend nannies work every weekend, and others are available for the occasional weekend when you have an event, a trip, or a work commitment. Many have another job during the week, so they are often flexible about shorter shifts and one-off dates.
Common Responsibilities of Weekend Nannies in Irvine, CA
Weekend care looks a lot like any other nanny job: supervising play, preparing meals and snacks, getting children to activities, and keeping to nap and bedtime routines. Because weekends are often busier and more active, you may also ask for help with outings, birthday parties, sports games, or family errands.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Be clear about the days and hours you need, whether the schedule is regular or occasional, and how much notice you can give. Rates and pay rules, including how weekend hours are paid, vary by state or province, so agree the details in writing and consider using nanny payroll to keep it simple. If you only need a few weekends a year, say so up front so nannies can plan around it.
Weekend Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which weekends are you available, and how much notice do you need?
- Do you work every weekend or only occasionally?
- Are you comfortable with outings and activities, and with driving the children if needed?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR?
- What rate do you charge for weekend shifts?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
