A little bit about me
I'd describe my personality as optimistic, compassionate, and nurturing.
I like working with kids because I like to help give children a positive childhood. I am grateful to have had very kind, supportive teachers and babysitters growing up, so I would love to have the same impact on more kids!
I started working with kids in high school. I have had many childcare jobs.
In my spare time, I like to run, read, workout, paint, and go to coffee shops with friends!
One thing you should know about me is I am a naturally driven person. I can be trusted to be a devoted nanny/babysitter to a family.
My skills include organization (time management, panning, routines), developmental knowledge (needs for different ages, etc.), and emotional/social skills (patience, empathy, problem solving).

How to Hire a Weekend Nanny in Erie, PA
Nanny Lane helps you find a weekend nanny in Erie, PA who fits your family's schedule. Browse profiles of nannies who are available on Saturdays or Sundays, then message the ones you like.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Weekend Nanny?
A weekend nanny cares for your children on Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Some weekend nannies work every weekend, and others are available for the occasional weekend when you have an event, a trip, or a work commitment. Many have another job during the week, so they are often flexible about shorter shifts and one-off dates.
Common Responsibilities of Weekend Nannies in Erie, PA
Weekend care looks a lot like any other nanny job: supervising play, preparing meals and snacks, getting children to activities, and keeping to nap and bedtime routines. Because weekends are often busier and more active, you may also ask for help with outings, birthday parties, sports games, or family errands.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Be clear about the days and hours you need, whether the schedule is regular or occasional, and how much notice you can give. Rates and pay rules, including how weekend hours are paid, vary by state or province, so agree the details in writing and consider using nanny payroll to keep it simple. If you only need a few weekends a year, say so up front so nannies can plan around it.
Weekend Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which weekends are you available, and how much notice do you need?
- Do you work every weekend or only occasionally?
- Are you comfortable with outings and activities, and with driving the children if needed?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR?
- What rate do you charge for weekend shifts?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
