A little bit about me
I’m Christina! I’m 27 and I’m native to SC. I have spent all of my life looking after children of all different age groups! I have recently been an office manager for a local Chiropractic office. I am looking to get back to a more fulfilling career helping children during their developmental ages! I love to help safely care and enrich for the children I get the opportunity to care for! I would love to become a part of your little one’s growth!

A little bit about me
I just moved to South Carolina from Washington state. I'm hoping to find a family that I can get to know and will help me learn the area! I'm 25 and grew up with two younger sisters. I actively helped raise them through all ages due to my mothers health issues so I have plenty of experience family wise.
I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, walking, snowboarding, biking, etc. I also don't mind the occasional day inside! Being from Washington means the weather plays an active role in what you plan for the day so I'm very flexible.
I am really lucky and my job from Washington state followed me to South Carolina. Because of this, I'm only looking for something part time. A couple of afternoon's during the week or a day here and there during the weekends.
NOTE: I occasionally travel back to WA for work last minute.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Thank You!

How to Hire a Weekend Nanny in Summerville, SC
Nanny Lane helps you find a weekend nanny in Summerville, SC who fits your family's schedule. Browse profiles of nannies who are available on Saturdays or Sundays, then message the ones you like.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Weekend Nanny?
A weekend nanny cares for your children on Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Some weekend nannies work every weekend, and others are available for the occasional weekend when you have an event, a trip, or a work commitment. Many have another job during the week, so they are often flexible about shorter shifts and one-off dates.
Common Responsibilities of Weekend Nannies in Summerville, SC
Weekend care looks a lot like any other nanny job: supervising play, preparing meals and snacks, getting children to activities, and keeping to nap and bedtime routines. Because weekends are often busier and more active, you may also ask for help with outings, birthday parties, sports games, or family errands.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Be clear about the days and hours you need, whether the schedule is regular or occasional, and how much notice you can give. Rates and pay rules, including how weekend hours are paid, vary by state or province, so agree the details in writing and consider using nanny payroll to keep it simple. If you only need a few weekends a year, say so up front so nannies can plan around it.
Weekend Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Which weekends are you available, and how much notice do you need?
- Do you work every weekend or only occasionally?
- Are you comfortable with outings and activities, and with driving the children if needed?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR?
- What rate do you charge for weekend shifts?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
