More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteer as a teachers aide for a 2nd grade class while I was in high school. I also tutored students throughout my school years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park/playing outside, playing instruments, doing arts and crafts, story time, simple puzzles/toys, learning by reading or watching documentaries
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making a meaningful contribution and connection to the kid and their family. It means so much to be able to make a positive difference in someone’s family.
My experience with special needs children...
I used to babysit for my cousin who has autism, so I understand taking care of children who do things a little differently.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When the kids I used to ski instruct would have a complain, I noticed with enough optimism and encouragement they would end up loving skiing.

Babysitter Available in Boise, ID: Sydney B.
I may not have paid experience in childcare, but I do have meaningful hands‑on experience. I took a Parenting and Child Development class where we cared for a RealCare Baby for a weekend. While it may not seem like much, it simulated caring for a real infant, including waking up in the middle of the night.
I also participated in a 7‑week play school in our classroom, working with 13 children ages 3–5. During that time, we created lesson plans, prepared snacks, and organized games and activities.
In addition, I completed an Intro to Early Childhood Education class, which included a 7‑week internship at Shelly Culver Head Start. I worked with 19 children ages 3–5 and two mentor teachers, where I observed, played with, and taught the kids.
I am not currently CPR or first aid certified, but I have been trained in CPR in school and I am willing to obtain official certification if needed.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Boise, ID: Allyson B.
My name is Allyson. I have been working with kids since I was 15 years of age. I have taken classes and have learned from other teacher I work with. I know each child is different and you yourself need to be able to use different techniques for different kids. I have loved working with kids and understand that they need someone to be understanding even when they get upset. I never yell at a child or scolded them. If a child is upset I get to the root of the problem and do my best to fix it. If needed I will do time out if the parent is ok with that. The child will never be left alone and will always been in eye sight or able to hear wherever we are at the park am always eye sight. At the house can always hear. I follow the rules you have for your child/children.
