Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Singing and dancing
Scribbling using crayons to introduce shapes and letters.
Pointing out colors, sounds and letters when exploring the outdoors and parks .
Having a small playgroup is always fun whether it is indoors or outdoors- Spending time with other children at a young age helps to develop social and communication skills, and probably long term friendship for all involved.
Introducing the senses of the body by feeling objects, color recognition, identifying sounds, and even tasting (age appropriate snacks).
Art projects like finger paintings and play dough can be messy, but a good way to cultivate hand and eye coordination.
Exercises like helping children stand and walk while holding on a rail to strengthen their core and leg muscles, and to develop much needed balance.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Babysitter skills are the soft and technical skills that you need in order to be effective in a babysitting position. Babysitters are responsible for completing a wide range of tasks during their work hours, which is why recognizing and developing the skills needed for this role is so vital.

My experience with special needs children...

Learn how the child communicates & understanding them and they wants and needs

The most important part about being a nanny...

The moment when you enter the family's home and your little one runs to you with excitement and hugs. Not only is it a rewarding feeling, but its validates your caregiving qualities to parents when they see how much their children are connected to you.
