Part-Time Nanny for Infant — Kirkland/Finn Hill, Mon–Fri Mornings
We’re a Kirkland family looking for a warm, reliable, experienced nanny for our son, who will be about 11 months old when you start. This is a long-term position beginning Monday, November 30, 2026.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–12:00 pm (20 hours a week, guaranteed)
Occasional evening babysitting or extra hours available if you’re interested
About the role
We both work from home, so a parent is always in the house. During your hours, you’re his main caregiver:
Feeding: purées and baby-led weaning; we’re finishing weaning by year-end
Diapering, play, reading, and walks, including a nearby park a 5-minute walk away, weather permitting. No driving.
Naps: he sleeps independently in his room after a short wind-down routine we’ll show you
No screens
While he naps:
Run and unload laundry; fold and put away his clothes
Prepare his meals from recipes and ingredients we provide
Light tidying related to him, such as straightening his play area and cleaning his toys, etc.
If a nap runs short and things don’t get done, that’s fine. He comes first.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of paid experience caring for infants or toddlers
Current infant CPR and first aid certification
Able to lift and carry a child of about 25 lbs, and comfortable with floor play
Clear communication in English
Reliable arrival by 8:00 am. Our home isn’t served by public transit; free parking is on site.
No smoking or vaping while working or on our property. We ask that our nanny have a current Tdap and flu vaccine.
Pay and benefits
$30–35/hour, depending on experience
W-2 employment through a payroll service, paid biweekly
Guaranteed 20 hours a week
Paid sick leave: 1 hour for every 40 worked
All federal holidays paid (11 per year), plus 5 days of PTO
Merit increase based on annual review
Our home
No pets. Our home has video and audio cameras in common areas and the nursery.

Babysitter Job: The Christian Family with 2 Children
Hello! Our family is in need of a part time expert nanny. A little bit about us: M just turned 4, E is almost 2. They are engaging, curious, adventurous and tender hearted girlies, and they are sure to make you laugh on a daily basis. My name is Hannah, I've been a full time mom since M was born but will be transitioning into a new career this year. Derek, the girl's Dad, works mostly from home and has a unique sched. We spend lots of time outside, walk more often than drive, e-bike every day in the summer, and spend time creating something with our hands every day (if art is your thing, that is a huge bonus!). We love to see the girls using their imaginations and discovering the world around them. If you think this might be the role for you, we would love to meet you and discuss hours, schedules, and expectations. At this time we are ideally looking for help 9-12 hours per week.
Thank you for your time! We can't wait to meet you.
