A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny available beginning sometime in January 2023 (start date flexible). My wife returns to work in January, ideally we could find someone to begin a regular 3-5 day schedule--days are flexible. I currently work full time, but typically work from home two days per week. When my wife returns to work she will also have a flexible schedule. Finally, we share our home with a kind and calm 6-year-old golden retriever. We live in the Kenton neighborhood in a four bedroom home with a backyard. We don't need any heavy housekeeping, but the occasional assist with some dishes or odds and ends would be wonderful.

--About Us--

--The Role--
Engaging, age-appropriate care (tummy time, reading, playtime, and outdoor walks), supporting breastfeeding and bottle feeding, preparing meals and snacks as we start solids, and keeping up with baby-related laundry, bottle and pump part cleaning, and light tidying.

--What We’re Looking For--
Hands-on experience with infants under 12 months
Current infant CPR/First Aid certification
Fully vaccinated (including Tdap and flu), clean driving record, nonsmoker
Warm, patient, dependable, and proactive, with great communication

--Preferred--
Experience with breastfed babies (handling pumped milk, paced bottle feeding, working around nursing sessions)
Comfortable working in a home where parents are present and working, with good judgment about when to check in versus handle things independently
Newborn or infant-specific training, like safe sleep practices

Hi, our names are Olivia and Eric, and we are looking with our neighbors, Catalina and Elliot, for a Nanny to care for our girls starting at the end of April. We were fortunate enough to fall pregnant four weeks apart so our kids won't be far in age and will have similar needs. Catalina and Elliot welcomed baby Indi at the end of December and Eric and Olivia will be welcoming their baby mid January. The plan is for the kids to be taken care of at Catalina and Elliot’s house with the convenience of Eric and Olivia being available for emergencies one house away.

Here are some things to note of Catalina and Elliot’s house. They have a very friendly Mini AussieDoodle named Caper 🐕 who will be present in the house while caring for our girls. Caper is used to staying home by herself for full work days but when someone is home with her she asks to be let out a couple times a day into our fully fenced yard. All that you will need to do is open the door when she asks and then let her back in again when she returns to the door. The house is equipped with heat/air-conditioning and a covered deck just off the kitchen. Some light housework should be done, essentially putting the house back together as it was a the start of the day (ie. activities put away, laundry in basket, bottles in dishwasher, etc.).
