We have 2 healthy girls ages 3 (in excellent local home-based daycare) and 9 (in school) in our pet-free home near Rockland. My parents (the girls' grandparents), willbe present 24/7 while my husband and I are away October 7-24th. Daycare was cancelled unexpectedly October 12-16. I am concerned they'll need extra help with meals/snacks, diapers, naps, outdoor safety, bedtime help, and light child-related cleanup, especially for the 3 year old toddler.
Core Care Needs:
Oct. 12 Daytime, 10am–5pm, both children (7 hours);
Oct. 13–16 Daytime, 10am–3pm toddler only (20 hours) and 3pm–5pm both kids (8 hours),
Oct. 13 Evening: toddler 5 pm–6:30 pm (1.5 hours) and both kids 6:30 pm-8:30pm (2 hours)
Subtotals: 17 hours (2 kids) and 21.5 (toddler only)
Total: 38.5 hours
Possible Additional, by mutual agreement: weekday evenings Oct. 8–9, Oct 12, Oct 14-16, and Oct 19–23; weekends in the daytime or evening Oct. [phone number hidden], and 23–25.

Requirements: reliable transportation, CPR, local reputation & references for providing safe, quality care.
Compensation/Terms: paid trial/orientation expected. compensation commensurate with experience; pay, schedule and terms to be agreed to in writing ideally by or before September 29 2026.
