A little bit about me

Greetings from your resident “Mary Poppins” mixed with a bit of “Miss Honey” from Matilda, searching for a family that desires a nanny for one to two children, birth to 4 or 5 years old.

I’d like to be considered for Monday through Friday from 10am to 3 or 4pm starting in September when schools begin again.

I homeschool my daughter and she also loves caring for little ones, especially babies!

If it’s possible to find a family that feels comfortable with her coming with me and going on field trips at times, that would be super! I realize that could take some time in trust building and I honor that deeply..

I am CPR certified and have experience in the mental healthcare field as a hypnotherapist and nervous system nerd. Gentle/respectful parenting is a passion of mine! I am also a singer and ballroom dancer. I have a lot of silliness and love to share!

I do have a reference from the current family I nanny for and several other references upon request!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My daughter is part of a homeschool co-op and I often help teach the classes for children of all ages.

In my coaching practice, I work with children on their mindset as well as teaching singing.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Being outside is always my favorite but playing just about anything is what I enjoy most! I flow with whatever the child feels called to and we use our imaginations together!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Presence.. being a nanny requires deep attunement to each child’s unique feelings and needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have as much recent experience with special needs children as I once did as a child. Growing up, I was part of a daycare that had several special needs children. I also always volunteered with special Olympics.
