I have taken many babysitting courses before I was given the chance to babysit for 6+ families while I was between the ages of 12 and 15! I currently work as a STEMbassador and travel to schools to teach elementary schoolers all about engineering (my favorite thing to talk about)! In the past I have also been a volunteer at a children’s theatre company where I helped to calm young performers before they hit the stage lights.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do outdoor activities, especially ones where we can get creative. I have created scavenger hunts and obstacle courses in the past for a few boys I watched! I also like incorporating kids into the cooking process, it is a fun way to get them excited about meal time. Although I love fun games and building activities like legos, I also really enjoy helping kids out with schoolwork. I think learning can be a fun activity!!
