Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I first started at a group home facility with infants and toddler then taught preschool. Then i bounced around daycares in billing looking for the right fit. I then became a nanny in 2022 for a 1 year old and 6 month old and the 1 year old was non verbal and had autism. I am used to working with children with special needs as my nanny job was not my first time working with them. After the kids got older and went to school i went back to a childcare facilities where i currently work now. I am CPR certified and have all my state required training.

I love to be doing something with children if it’s inside doing table time, individual play, or crafts. To being outside going on walks, playing at the park, enjoying the outdoors. I also have taught preschool so i have experience prepping lessons or crafts.

The most important part of being a nanny is making everyday with the child or children count and to take care of them as if they were my own.
My experience with special needs children...
My first job i worked close everyday with a 2 year old non verbal autistic child, my last nanny job i worked everyday with a 1 year old non verbal autistic child as well until he went to preschool, and my current job now i work with little girl who has cerebral palsy and more disabilities.
