More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As an au pair, I provided full-time care in a home setting, supporting children's daily routines, helping with homework, and engaging them in creative and educational activities. In the daycare setting, I worked closely with a team to create a structured, nurturing environment, planning age-appropriate lessons, supervising play, and fostering social and emotional development. These roles have strengthened my ability to connect with children, adapt to their individual needs, and create a safe, fun, and supportive space for learning and growth.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Art is one of my biggest passions, and I enjoy incorporating creative activities like drawing, painting, and crafts into my daily routines. I also love planning fun, age-appropriate activities that help children learn and grow—things like sensory play, storytelling, music and movement, outdoor play, and imaginative games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a safe, trusting, and nurturing relationship with both the child and their family. I believe in creating an environment where children feel secure, valued, and free to explore, learn, and grow.
Safety is always my top priority, and I take great care in being attentive, responsible, and consistent. I also focus on open, honest communication with parents to ensure we're always on the same page and working as a team.
I genuinely enjoy forming meaningful connections with children, getting to know their personalities, supporting their development through fun and age-appropriate activities, and being a positive, loving presence in their everyday lives.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favourite moments as a nanny was when the kids and I built an obstacle course together in the basement. We used pillows, boxes, and cones to create a fun, challenging path—and they were so excited to help design it and show off their moves! It was a great mix of creativity, teamwork, and physical play.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Strasburg, VA: Kendra T.
Hello! My name is Kendra & I'm a loving mother. I've been a stay at home mom for the last 6 years but my youngest just started Kindergarten. I loved being home with her so much I figured why not offer my services to another family in need of childcare. My schedule is flexible but I'm always available Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm. I'm energetic and love to do age appropriate arts and crafts as well as learning games. I have experience with Littles not only as being a Mom, but I also worked for different families through out the years as well as a daycare. The owner and some of the families are references of mine. I love being around children. They are just so much fun and imaginative. Ideally I would love to provide the childcare in my home. Obviously you would more than welcome to come check it out. If you have a baby or toddler I am more than willing to help with them hitting their milestones as well as potty training. I hope to hear from you.
