More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
During the pandemic these past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to tutored and assist with assignments that were online only which made it a bit tough for the children in my care. But being a little savvy with the internet I was able to successfully help with this new way of learning. Still be able to have the children engage as if they’re in the classroom to my best ability. Also increasing grade percentages in many subjects that included math, history and art.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to the park/ long walks
Painting with watercolors/coloring
Playing “ critical thinking “ or building blocking games
Dancing and fun exercise routines
Setting up play dates with other children that can include children museums, parks/ park shows
Engaging them with cooking and trying new foods/ experiences

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, children are like sponges who soak up information that’s around them. And being an adult who’s responsible for them, it’s really important to be your best self and really set an example for them to look up to. From how you react, the language you use to the energy your bring around them. On top of following the parents instructions and their needs to make a great family/ nanny dynamic!
The most important part about being a nanny...
A favorite moment of mine was when I was just starting out as a nanny back in 2017. I had taken the kid in my care and the neighbor kid to the park and saw how interesting it was how children easily make friends with one another and watching their individual personalities peek through when they’re excited! It’s the sweetest yet funny little moments watching them converse amongst each other and see the grow before your eyes into their own person.

I have been a Leader In Training at summer and winter day and overnight camps at Trackers Earth for 4 years, where I have worked with grades K-9 outdoors. Additionally, over this summer I have been employed at Trackers Earth as Basecamp Support- leading and teaching for precamp and aftercamp (grades K-5). I have also done some volunteering work with my school's lower and middle school outdoor education programs, mostly belaying for rock climbing activities. I really enjoy working with children and am very interested in teaching and storytelling in particular. I am creative, fun, practical, and patient. Thanks so much!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Janna B.
Hi! I'm Janna. I recently graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Exercise & Sports Science and hope to attend PA school in the future. I have experience caring for children ranging from 1-12 years old and absolutely love working with kids.
I'm a big believer that childhood should include plenty of time outside, getting creative, and having fun. Whether that's crafts, games, baking, homework help, trips to the park, or spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen, I love helping kids stay engaged and enjoy being kids.
I'm also happy to help with meal preparation, household organization, errands, transportation, tutoring, and other family support needs. My goal is to be someone both parents and children can count on while making everyday life run a little more smoothly.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Levannea L.
hello my name is livi! Im 24 years old, born and raised Oregonian. I have worked with kids for almost 10 years now, I was a preschool teacher for about 4 of those years. After that I continued to baby-sit on my own time. I have more experience working with toddlers but Ive worked with children of all ages. My love for kids started at a young age, it started out as volunteering then it became a career. Im an active person so I like to involve outside time as much as I can when I babysit. I also find myself doing lots of arts and crafts as well as different types of activities with the kiddos I look after. Some parents appreciate summaries of their kids day and that's something I can definitely provide. I can also provide a resume and I'm open for interview as well. Due to the current public events I'm also encouraging and open to extra health precautions.. Im hoping to connect with families and provide care to their little ones!
Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Taesha H.
Hi I’m Taesha I’m 22 years old and have been working in childcare for 6 years now mainly with the infant age group I love working with babies and watching them progress and grow. I have a lot of experience with this younger group and some of the things I do on a day to day with them include the normals changing, feedings, helping them sleep, but I love doing crafts with them and reading and singing and teaching them little things like sign language also that I’m trying to catch on with and learn as well because I do think that’s helpful for them to know and is a great way for them to communicate. I do have my CPR and first aid training and many other infant trainings due to my current job. I’m also a huge animal lover I recently got a little pitty so bring on the animals if you have them! I hope to here from you soon if there’s any questions feel free to message me good luck on your search.
