A little bit about me

Hi everyone! I have been caring for kids on and off since I was in middle school. I recently began caring for children full time (for around 2 years now). I absolutely love every moment of meeting new families and caring for their kids. I am now a college graduate (bachelor’s in social work). But I prefer to care for children than to pursue the tough and heartbreaking social work scene. I adore kids and enjoy playing with them, teaching them various things, and helping them with their creativity .I’m very patient, kind, creative, bubbly, loving, organized, and love to clean.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a volunteered teachers assistant multiple times. My most recent time was prior to COVID. I was caring for first graders in 2019 at 100 Academy and it was one of my best experiences. I didn’t realize that I have such a love for teaching until that year and became an ESL teacher around a year and a half later.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to the park with them
Watching them ride their bikes and scooters
Playing indoor games such as bingo, candy land, and etc (I have a few games I don’t mind bringing from time to time for us to play).
Watching movies
Tutoring them
Drawing
I absolutely love arts and crafts. I might not be the best at it, but it’s very enjoyable to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being patient and kind. Patience has taught me a lot, especially when working with children. Also, showing kindness towards them creates a bond that is unbreakable.

My experience with special needs children...

I have supervised special needs children while being a volunteered teacher assistant multiple times. However, I do not have the most expertise working with them. But I would love to continuously work with them in the near future.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is playing games with kids. Every time I play games with children, heartwarming and humorous moments are created. And it’s nice to see the goofy side of kids come out.
