The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is the well being of the children I am caring for. Regardless of what is going on I must make sure they are safe at all times and use any resources available to me to make sure that safety is present physically, emotionally, and mentally.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was caring for a family of young boys ages 3-8 and the youngest had trouble getting his older brothers to include him in outside playtime since he was smaller and generally less interested in sports. He loved to sing though so him and I crafted accessories and posters for a mini concert he did in the living room that his brothers were able to participate in and enjoy as well. They all loved it so much that it became a weekly thing. That activity allowed them to bond and made the youngest feel more seen & respected which also saved a lot of tantrums that were stemming from feeling left out.
