I think the most important part of being a Nanny is making sure that the kids have my whole attention at all times.
My experience with special needs children...
2 of my nephews happen to be Autistic, which comes out to be difficult sometimes but I’ve learned to be more careful with them. Greyson, who is 4, is on the more quiet side & very loving so me and him color and slowly figure out how to communicate through toys & his favorite shows. Elias, who just turned 3, is non-verbal. Elias is more difficult but after being told by my Aunt how things work with him, I was able to take care of him & communicate with him through partial Sign Language & music.
