The most important part about being a nanny...

The MOST important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with not only the child but the parents as well. Children are a parents heart and soul walking outside of their body. Leaving your child in the care of someone else is HARD. They deserve to leave them with someone they can trust will keep them safe, loved and happy.

My experience with special needs children...

I unfortunately do not have much experience in this field, although I would be willing to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was hearing the kids talk about how they get bored easily. So I made sure to set up days for them to do things. We did a day surrounding cooking/baking/making popsicles. We did another “water day” where we went swimming, played with water balloons and slip and slides. The next day was a sports day and we played all different sports with o sticks courses in between. I never had so much fun babysitting before and I have used that model going forward for every single child I babysit.
