A little bit about me

Hi!! I’m Brazilian so most of my experience is in there but I also worked in a daycare here in SLC and as a nanny too, I use to nanny some of my students after daycare hours. I love kids, I love to hear all about their world, how they see it and feel it! I’m pretty honest, polite and responsible, this was the way I was raised.
I still working on my English, but I’m proud of myself because when I got here I didn’t have any knowledge of the language, any!
I have an online shop on Etsy that sells favor boxes for kids party, it still a new shop but I will get there!
I’m by myself here actually, it is me and Emma my 2 years old dog, she is the best thing of my life!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I use to get into the kids preferences, if is a girl who like to play with her dolls I will sit on floor and play dolls…. But we can do it at park with some snacks… or in the back yard…

With boys the same, I can play what is his favorite thing but change the environment just to make it funnier!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think one of most important thing is to make the parents feel that their kids are in good hands while they’re doing what they have to do and do not be worried about the kids and make the kids feel safe, feel that they are being loved and they can have fun when their parents are not there.

but I had a kid who told me that he was allergic to salad and broccoli just to not try it.

I had one who always say that she loved me as I was her family ( I love this girl)

It is so sweet when they begin to be interested in knowing the words in Portuguese( that is my language) they ask things like, “ how do I say I love you in your language “ that’s sweet!’
