My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, OCD, seizures, blindness, physical disabilities.
In my experience children with trauma &/or a history of abuse have special needs of their own. Therefore I also would include that I have extensive training on trauma, how to queen with children who have it & have lots of experience which includes working with children that have experienced &/or are currently experiencing:
The foster system, adoption, PTSD, fetal alcohol syndrome, OCD, parents divorcing, loss of a family member, all forms of abuse, all forms of neglect & more.
Children with such experiences generally require extra care, patience, affirmation & help self regulating. Something which I am fully capable of providing.
