I worked as second and backup lead teacher for over a year at an in-home daycare company.
For half that time I worked with 3 months to 2 years, and then I switched to 2 years to 4 years, but I have personal experience with older ages as well!
After that I worked at school for newborn through pre-k!
I was an assistant teacher in the toddler room.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some inside activities I do are dance parties, reading stories, making forts, doing arts and crafts, cooking or baking, and science experiments!
Outside activities, playing tag, red light green light or hide and seek! Taking the kids out to a park or on a walk is also a great idea!

To me the most important part of being a nanny is 100% the kids happiness and safety! It’s my biggest concern and greatest privilege to take care of your tiny people!

Weirdly, seeing the kids outside of work and having them recognize me! I was at the pumpkin patch and didn’t even see one of my kiddos but she saw me and told the whole class about it before I got in that day. It warmed my heart knowing she was that happy to see me.
