More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes babysitting for families in my community, assisting with after-school programs, and helping younger siblings with homework and daily routines. In these roles, I ensured their safety, engaged them in educational and fun activities, and maintained clear communication with parents.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in a variety of fun and educational activities! Some of my favorites include reading stories, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and exploring the outdoors. I also enjoy helping with creative projects, imaginative play, and simple science or cooking activities that encourage learning while having fun. Whether it’s playing at the park, building with LEGO, or doing a quiet activity like puzzles or journaling, I always try to make time spent together enjoyable, safe, and meaningful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where kids feel supported, happy, and encouraged to learn and grow.
My experience with special needs children...
I have personal and professional experience working with children with special needs. I have a little brother with Down syndrome, which has given me a deep understanding and patience for their unique needs. Additionally, I have cared for an 8-year-old child with special needs for about 8 months, supporting their daily routines, learning, and play activities. I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children of all abilities can thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was helping a child I cared for accomplish something they had been trying to do for a long time seeing their excitement and pride made me feel so happy and proud too. Moments like these, whether it’s learning a new skill, completing a craft project, or just sharing a big laugh together, are what make being a nanny so rewarding for me.
