To me, the most important part about being a nanny is not only being a caregiver but also being a friend. Growing up, my babysitters never did one on one activities with me and for children, quality time and attention is vital for their learning experience. At one point, I lived in Frisco, Texas where I was involved in a special needs program called, ‘Best Buddies’ at Lebanon Trail High School where I worked with special needs students on reading, writing, and oral communication.
