"Kasey was such a joy to us and our 4 year old little girl. Every time Kasey left our home, our girl would ask when she was coming back! She took care of breakfast with ingredients we would provide and bath time, which was a huge help on extra busy days. I was especially impressed that Kasey brought her own paint supplies for arts and crafts— my husband and I each got a gift that day!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Most recently, I have worked with children’s of all ages in a medical setting, including caring for premature babies in the NICU of a large hospital system. I have also worked as a rock climbing and water sports instructor, particularly with children ages 8-15. My duties included conducting equipment safety inspections and teaching, so I’m no stranger to balancing fun and safety. In college, I also volunteered with children’s organizations whose mission was to expose minority children to all the academic and career possibilities available to them in higher education and beyond!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I've been an athlete my whole life, so I'd be more than happy to play sports with your little one(s). I also play the piano and the guitar and have combined babysitting duties and music lessons in the past, which I'm always happy to do. Aside from that, one of my favorites activities to do with kids is paint. I love the imagination and creativity that kids so fearlessly express.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Striking a balance between structure and fun! I want the kids I care for to feel safe and have a good time through age-appropriate activities!
My experience with special needs children...
I have 2 years of experience working with kids with special needs, particularly in athletic contexts.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments working as a nanny was the sweetest hug I got from a little boy just before heading off to college. It's always rewarding to know that you’ve positively impacted the life of a little one!

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Washington, DC: Miranda T.
Hi I’m Miranda! I’m seeking my next nanny opportunity with a wonderful family. I’m a kind, compassionate, silly person who was born in Michigan. As the oldest of my siblings caregiving has always been part of my day to day. I’ve been babysitting them since as long as I can remember, so, naturally as soon as I heard you can be a nanny I jumped at the opportunity to do so.
My background for caring for children started with my siblings. My parents worked long hours so I would be paid to babysit them. At the time I didn’t understand, but I was being imparted with great values.
In my free time I enjoy making films as I am studying to be a film student, reading, listening to music, painting hiking and watching films.
