About 2 years ago I babysat a 3 year old girl and a 12 year old boy who had autism. He used pictures and magnets to communicate with me for what he wanted or needed.

I have a ton of amazing memories. My favorite ones are when I walk through the door and they get all excited to see me, also when we’re bonding while doing something that they love to do and honestly when it’s time for me to go and they hug me goodbye because that’s when I know that I made a difference and they had fun with me that day.
