"My daughter was very shy and reserved. From the first time we met Kaydence, she had a connection with my daughter and was able to help bring her out of her shell. She was always punctual and would share pictures and texts throughout the day so I could see how well my daughter was doing.
They spent time outside and played and the television was never on. They worked on different activities to include coloring, walks and dancing.
They would have picnics in the backyard to help make the day fun. Kaydence was patient, kind and fun. I will be forever grateful for how well she took care of my little girl!"

"Kaydence has helped us for a few months while my kids where 2y and 8m old. During this time Kaydence was responsible for both kids full time while both myself and my husband were at work. Kaydence is extremely solar and transmits happiness all around. She always had many creative ideas that my kids really enjoyed. She also helped with naps and potty training and the kids loved every moment with her."

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going on outings with the kids I care for- parks, museums, play dates, anything that allows them the chance to explore and grow all while having fun. And for at home activities, I love to give dance “classes” and have arts and crafts time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is both the gift and the responsibility to help the children in your care grow to be the best versions of themselves. To help in teaching them kindness, respect (of themselves and others). It’s to nurture their creativity and let them know early on that they are capable of greatness. To provide a safe, fun, and loving environment to learn about themselves and the world around them.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs kids is admittedly limited, but I am a very kind and gentle person and able to comfortably work with kids with special behavioral or physical needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was a nanny in France to two wonderful little boys, both of whom had never had any prior knowledge of English. So along with all of the other nanny duties, it was also my job to teach them English.
One day we went on an outing to the beach and just as we stepped out of the car it started to sprinkle. It was a day where I could tell it would just sprinkle for a moment, and then the sun would return. So I decided it was best that we wait in the car until it stopped. The oldest, who was two at the time, got very upset at the idea- he thought that we were going home. I remember holding his hand and getting down and explaining, in English, that we were just going to wait it out until the rain stopped and that we had to be patient. He nodded his head and said “okay” and we walked back to the car. That moment was so special for a plethora of reasons, but the biggest part of it was realizing that he fully comprehended every word. when I’d first started the only word he knew was “hello”.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Los Angeles, CA: Nancy R.
I love kids, I enjoy having company and I have a lot of patience with kids and pets. I have authority but I don’t reprimand kids, I make sure they are following the rules they’re accustomed to at home. I also have worked with kids before at the boys and girls club of which I’ve been a member for over 5 years. I also took ECE (early childhood development) with SMC for 2 semesters we learned a lot about how kids function at different stages in their life which benefits me as a sitter because it allows me to understand their needs. Another bonus is that I have my own car .
Currently my work schedule varies on my days off however my work hours are always 5am to 1:30pm at my regular day job, however since I don’t have set off days it will all vary, but you’re always more than welcome to reach out to me.
