More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In college, I coached club field hockey and worked closely with girls from elementary through high school — I loved getting to be a positive role model and helping them grow both on and off the field. I also babysat for family friends, helping with everything from dinner and homework to bedtime. In high school, I was a Girl Scout Leader-in-Training, so I helped lead younger girls on trips and activities, and made sure they felt included, safe, and excited to learn and explore!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love anything that gets kids moving or using their imagination — playing outside, going on walks, making up games, or doing crafts. I also really enjoy helping with homework or reading together, especially when I can make it fun and encouraging. Baking simple treats, building with Legos, or having dance parties are always a hit too! I try to match their energy and find things that make them feel happy, confident, and engaged!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I actually grew up with a nanny, and she became one of my closest mentors — someone I trusted, looked up to, and felt so safe with. That experience really shaped me, and it's why I believe the most important part of being a nanny is showing up with love, patience, and consistency. Kids remember how you make them feel, and I want to be the kind of role model who helps them feel confident, cared for, and truly seen.
