My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with kids who have autism, along with kids who have adhd, so i don’t mind verbal or physical stims, nonverbal children, repetition, & etc. Same as kids with ASD who have meltdowns, SIB, and are hypo or hypersensitive. I’m pretty attentive to paying attention to what triggers them, to figure out if they’re overstimulated, or are seeking more stimulation input. I also have the patience to wait for children with ADHD who’s attention span is short if i’m saying something to them, they can walk away mid talking, and when they come back, i’ll finish what i was saying as if it never paused, and i do not mind at all the hyperactivity. I am also experienced with other disorders such as anxieties, ocd, & so forth.
