I am a mother of 5 kids, 4 have graduated HS-I am so proud of them. My step-daughter has 2 babies- so I am a recent "Mimi". My oldest two children are adopted through foster care and are biological siblings. I spent 7 years raising 11 different foster children with varying needs, before focusing on raising my 3 children.

I finished my Teaching courses, and passed my special education exam and was months away from becoming a certified teacher when I had to go on FMLA for a now resolved medical issue. I have worked with most grades in an educational setting including behavioral management, special education, social skills, child advocacy & have taught in 2 different school districts.
