I've done nursery work for churches and volunteered as a kid care volunteer for vacation Bible school. I've also previously worked for a family in babysitting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy building massive forts with children. It's more fun to watch the fort tumble like Jenga LOL. Arts and crafts are fun as well. Obstacle courses are something I always do with the kids since I remember it being one of my favorite things as a kid as well. Dance parties are a must, they are such fun, and great for kids with lots of energy. Just dance is a fun game. going for a walk to the park and riding around the neighborhoods are also cool ways to kill time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
caring and loving. understanding the kid's feelings and learning to have fun with them and not just viewing them as an easy paycheck but as little people too. they are quite observant.

I've never babysat for special needs children but am always open to new experiences.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I babysat for a set of twins last year and It was always a joy to hang out with them. from watching cartoons with them to taking them to the park. my favorite moment with them was when I would take them for outings to the park. Park outings were always a hit.
