My name is Madison Mayes, I was an assistant dance teacher 6 years. I have worked with multiple summer camps ( 4-h Smith mountian lake, Johnstonville Tn, and Summerton SC) I have 10 years of babysitting experience newborn-12. I took three years of Early Childhood Education during my time at Bassett High School however due to covid I was unable to earn my certification. I then went to Patrick and Henry Community College where I earned my General studies Associate degree in Science. I went to Averett University and in my first semester I studied Elementry Education, I switched my major to sociology during my second semester. I Earned my Bachelors Degree in Sociology and plan to use it however I can to help childern and families near me. I have always had a passion for working with childeren and hope I will be a good fit for your family! I am basic life support certified! For that certification I learned CPR & First aid!

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have a lot of experience working with special needs childern, however I did work with a little boy who needed help learning to walk and using his leg braces! I am thrilled to say he is now walking brace free!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite babysitting moment was when I had laid my little cousin down for her nap and she rolled over and said " Madison, I love you" it moved me to tears!
