Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a K-8 school with a variety of roles including: teacher's assistant (1st & 2nd grade), day camp pod lead (3rd-8th grade) recess lead (K-8th grade), and extended day care (K-8th grade). Working with children in a school setting provided me with another layer of understanding and skill when it comes to working with kids! I also worked at a pre-school with a class ages 1.5-2.5 where I focused a lot on social emotional development and creating activities for the kiddos. I was also a nanny for a 7 month - 2.5 year old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Story times, painting, coloring, water play, baking/cooking, outdoor walks, going to the park, singing and dancing, imaginative play with toys to name a few!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I was a nanny for a 12 year old girl and we made a tradition of getting ice cream once a month. It was something we both looked forward and always reminded me of the connections you can make with this kind of work. Also the toddler I nannied was obsessed with the Grinch and would sing one of the songs to me whenever I got there for like a month, so funny!
