Here’s a bit about my childcare background:
• 1 year caring for a 14-year-old with disabilities
• 3 years working with infants and toddlers
• 2 years with 7- and 8-year-olds
My responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, ensuring safety at all times, planning age-appropriate lessons and activities, organizing small field outings, keeping the home tidy, and I’m also CPR certified. I’d love to answer any other questions you might have!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning fun indoor and outdoor activities that keep children engaged and happy. Indoors, I enjoy reading stories, doing arts and crafts, baking, and playing creative games that spark imagination. Outdoors, I like taking kids to the park, playing tag or catch, riding bikes, and organizing scavenger hunts or picnics. Whether inside or outside, I always make sure children feel safe, active, and excited to learn through play.
My experience with special needs children...
I have over a year of experience caring for children, including those with special needs such as my cousin with Down syndrome
The most important part about being a nanny...
Seeing their excitement and confidence grow reminded me how rewarding it is to be patient, supportive, and celebrate every milestone—big or small.

Hi! I am Kelly. I am taking a break from the corporate world for a few months before I start law school in the fall. I’d love to meet you and have some summer fun with your kids!
I moved to DC after going to Yale University for undergrad, but I am originally from Cuba, so happy to help practice Spanish too! I speak some Italian and can understand a little Portuguese. I grew up working with kids at church and spent many years leading an after school class at a JCC.
I love being outdoors, arts and crafts, and trying simple but delicious recipes. I look forward to meeting you!
