I’m a university student and a mother of two my youngest is autistic. I have experience of 3- 1/2 years doing work-study through Victor Valley College during my college years I worked at an in-home daycare. I attend a Baptist Church and have volunteered in my previous church’s children’s ministry. I enjoy doing housework, cooking, and helping others I have experience in the early head-start program. I’m going for my bachelors (Liberal Arts) degree in special education/counseling (my minor) or to become an American history professor (my focus major). I enjoy various activities and am a little quiet I like to observe and be vigilant to my surroundings. I do like order and routines and of course free time. Thank you 💚

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

A teacher assistant in an in-home daycare of 3 1/2 years, cared for 0-12 years old, minimal house keeping, minimal laundry. Volunteered in children’s ministry at my previous church in K-1st grade for 2 years. Also, experience in Early Headstart education.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy music so dance and singing, outdoor and in door play, coloring, sketching, arts and crafts. Various realistic play and imagination and activity books.

My experience with special needs children...

My youngest is autistic so I have minimal experience having had a few in the in-home daycare setting so I have experience with a few children under supervision. I also have a couple of special needs cousins.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Most holidays spent with the children and head of house holds. The baking and photos taken for holiday crafts. Seeing the littles progress into speaking and growing into toddlers.
