Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My journey in childcare began in high school with regular babysitting for families with kids ranging from newborns to nine-year-olds. Since then, I've had two fulfilling nanny positions, caring for little ones up to six years old. Alongside, I've shared my love for music as a private violin and piano instructor, building meaningful connections with the kids I taught.

Most recently, I provided care to kids aged 5-10 in an after-school program. Each experience has added layers to my understanding of child development and my ability to create a fun, safe and nurturing environment for the kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love fostering creativity in the children I work with! In the past, I've enjoyed planning various crafts like sand art, paper projects, bracelet making, and painting. We've also had a ton of fun with music—dancing, singing, and even experimenting with different instruments.

When it comes to outdoor activities, I've always liked taking walks, going to the park, or simply enjoying some chalk drawing and bubble blowing. Diving into STEM activities has been a hit too! At one point, I helped out with a program where we did cool experiments like making invisible ink and slime—it was a blast!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the heart of being a nanny is all about being a reliable and trusted companion for both the kids and their parents. I want to be the kind of nanny that kids feel like they can really connect with, while also giving parents the peace of mind knowing their little ones are in good hands.

I see my role as more than just watching over the kids. It's about creating experiences that boost their confidence, spark their curiosity, and just make them happy! And supporting parents in raising their children the way they want is something I take to heart.

I'm dedicated to providing them with the care and experiences that help them thrive and grow. So, if there's anything I can do to help with that, you can count on me to give it my all!

My experience with special needs children...

I've had the chance to work with kids diagnosed with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and cognitive processing disorders, both in group settings and one-on-one. It's been really eye-opening and taught me a lot about how to connect and support each child's individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most cherished nanny moments was with the very first family I worked with. They had two daughters and two sons, and I grew to absolutely adore them all. The bond we shared extended beyond the boundaries of their home; it was a relationship built on genuine love and trust.

When they relocated across the country to Florida, I was deeply touched that our connection didn't fade with distance. We stayed in touch, and to my surprise, they even traveled cross-country to support me at an important event in my life. It was a heartwarming gesture that truly made my heart soar!
