More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 13 years of experience working with children from infancy through age 6. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and two postgraduate specializations in Special Education and Educational Psychology from Brazil, with my credentials evaluated in the U.S. I worked as an Early Childhood Teacher for over 8 years, a nanny in Massachusetts, and most recently as a Paraprofessional in a public school. I have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. I am CPR and First Aid certified and truly enjoy creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun, engaging, and educational experiences for children! Some of my favorite activities include reading, music, arts and crafts, sensory play, baking together, puzzles, pretend play, outdoor adventures, playgrounds, nature walks, library story time, splash pads, and age-appropriate learning activities. My goal is to help children learn, explore, and have fun in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel happy, confident, and supported. I believe every child learns through play, kindness, and meaningful interactions. My goal is to help children grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually while giving parents peace of mind, knowing their little ones are cared for with patience, respect, and genuine love.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with autism (ASD), ADHD, developmental and speech delays, sensory processing differences, and learning disabilities. My background as an early childhood teacher and nanny has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and individualized care. I strive to create a loving, structured environment where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a baby take their first independent steps after weeks of practicing together. Celebrating those little milestones and seeing their excitement is something I’ll never forget.
