A little bit about me

Hello! I'm Prince, also known as Princess. I’m a 19-year-old student seeking experience and work in childcare, babysitting, or even nannying.
As the youngest of a very distant family until 17, I often felt something was missing, and it was feeling like my own person. I was- and still am- only treated as an extension of my mother. This hurts my inner child even now, and I’ve always only wanted children to feel safe, heard, and encouraged in my presence in ways I never got to experience while growing up in such a family.
I always loved being around children, but my passion for childcare sparked after babysitting my cousin’s 2-year-old last week. Her parents called her bad and “a handful”; they apologized for needing me to watch her.
I spent 9 hours with her and she was nothing but a delight. She’s not a handful- she’s an autistic toddler. Her parents don’t know how to handle that, nor do they care to learn how.
Even with no experience, caring for her was a joyous blessing in disguise.
