Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the water, and reside in a coastal community. Swimming is one of my favorite activities.
I believe in introducing children to music at an early age, since it is really a universal language. It can foster music awareness and appreciation, encouraging self expression and can encourage the children to move freely in dance and song.
My love of the printed word has influenced the children in my care. We always have books available to share a story, and explore the visual and audial experiences of reading aloud.
I enjoy crafts, so that is something I encourage the children to engage and freely participate with. This is a great gross motor skill, and even the young toddlers and preschoolers can enjoy the experience of painting with watercolors!
Playing outside is equally important in child development. Walking everyday with the children in their strollers is something I enjoy. The older children will enjoy their tricycles, wagons, or just digging in the sandbox in the sun!

A nanny has a very serious and responsible role in the life of a child. It takes a special person to have the maturity to use good judgement, provide a safe environment, and ensure a loving and caring experience. These are some of the points that matter to me.
