A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Serenity, also go by my nickname Ren! :) I have pretty much been a live in nanny since I was little, just kidding. I did live with my uncle and his wife as my dad was always gone for work. They had 4 girls in the span of 5 years of me living there. I grew up helping take care of them from newborns to walking them to the bus stop for school. Once I went off to college I secured a nanny job in northern arizona. I was a full time nanny and a full time student. The child I nannied was 11mo when I started and 32 months when I had to quit because I moved cities. I now am a ranch hand and work with horses and we do lessons with kids and special needs kids which I enjoy very, very much. I love kids of all ages, but my speciality would be newborns, infants, and toddlers. :) When I worked in college as a nanny, I made meals time to time, bottle fed, watched her as the parents got sleep or took a nap, ran errands for them etc. Id love to do the same for you!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making the atmosphere feel like I'm part of the family and not just a worker. Making the kids feel comfortable around me and develop a relationship with both the parents and children. I feel when that happens everything is in harmony at the home.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with verbal and non verbal. In highschool I helped with ASD children both verbal and non verbal. I also currently work at a ranch on weekends and we do lessons for non verbal and verbal kids, doing horseback riding.
