The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment occurred awhile back when working with a family that consisted of two sweet boys, one evening after completing my shift, their parents got home and like every other evening they asked me not to leave and spend the night. I told them I can't stay, like I usually tell them but little did I knew they had a plan up their selves, to my surprise as soon as I head outside making my way to the front gate I was sprayed with water from their water toy, I was soak wet from my hair down, their parents was upset with them but I couldn't help hollering with laughter when the younger kid shouted that since I was wet I could no longer leave.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Washington, DC: Breanna C.
Hi, I’m Breanna! I have over nine years of experience as a professional nanny and am also a certified postpartum doula. Caring for children has always been more than just a career for me, it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Before becoming a full-time nanny, I worked as an infant and toddler teacher, which helped shape my understanding of early childhood development and the importance of creating a loving, supportive environment where children can thrive.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, kindness, consistency, and plenty of fun. Whether we’re reading stories, exploring outdoors, creating art, enjoying sensory play, or celebrating everyday milestones, I love finding meaningful ways to help children learn and grow while making lasting memories.
