Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While I don’t have professional childcare experience, I have gained valuable hands-on experience caring for children throughout my life. I have a 2-year-old little sister who has given me experience with babies and toddlers, and I have also babysat my younger cousins, my sister, my friend’s 6- and 11-year-old siblings, and other families’ children on multiple occasions. I also earned my babysitting certification to strengthen my knowledge of childcare and safety. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, responsible, attentive, and create a safe, fun, and caring environment for children of different ages. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, helping them learn, play, and feel comfortable, and I would love the opportunity to provide that same level of care for your family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When I’m babysitting or nannying, I like to be very hands-on and engaged with the children. I believe kids learn and grow best through play, creativity, and spending time with others rather than being on screens all day. While I’m okay with an occasional episode of a favorite show if that’s what the parents prefer, I’d much rather spend time doing activities the children enjoy. Whether it’s playing outside, building a snowman in the winter, playing tag, playing house, doing crafts, reading books, or making up fun games together, I love joining in on what interests them. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and positive environment where children can learn new things, use their imagination, stay active, and make happy memories while feeling supported and cared for.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. A great nanny is more than just someone who watches children—they become a positive role model, encourage learning and creativity, and support each child’s growth while respecting the parents’ routines and values. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their family through patience, communication, reliability, and kindness is what I believe makes a nanny truly successful.
